From March 18 to 24, our Asia tour brought us to Guangzhou, Hong Kong, and Bangkok, three cities that together paint a vivid picture of how rapidly the bedding and sleep industry is evolving in this region. Through trade fair visits, market observations, and partner exchanges, we experienced firsthand the momentum that is currently shaping Asian markets: bold innovation, strong design quality, and an increasingly high standard of professional presentation.
The centerpiece of the trip was CIFF in Guangzhou, one of the world's largest furniture fairs, uniting over 5,100 exhibitors and around 380,000 visitors from more than 200 countries. Walking the fair made one thing clear: Asia's sleep market is in motion, driven by rising consumer expectations around quality, product innovation, and the overall sleep experience.
Visiting shops for sleep-tech products in Hong Kong and Bangkok rounded out the picture, offering a closer look at how these broader trends translate into retail and consumer behavior at ground level. Taken together, the tour left a strong impression: Asia is not just a growth market to watch. It is increasingly a source of inspiration that will help shape the future of the global sleep industry.
